From June 2-8, 2014, bars around the world will be mixing up their favorite Negroni variations and donating a portion of proceeds from each one sold to a charity of their choice. Kapow Noodle Bar will be one of the only participating restaurants in Boca Raton so join us to pay homage to a classic cocktail while raising money for a great local charity, Boca Helping Hands!
During Negroni Week, Kapow Noodle Bar will donate $1 to Boca Helping Hands for every Negroni sold! If you drink multiple Negroni’s, we will double the donation! (Drink 2, we donate $4. Drink 3, we donate $6 etc) Our team of mixologists will be serving up the iconic pre-prohibition cocktail along with 3 variations on the classic. And keep tabs on the Negroni Week action on Kapow’s Instagram and Twitter feeds (@imbibe) and by following the #NegroniWeek and #KapowNegroni hashtags.
Boca Helping Hands (BHH) is a community-based 501(c)(3) organization that first opened as a Food Center in November 1998, serving nutritious hot lunches three days a week and giving out bags of groceries to families. The Food Program has expanded to six days a week with a Family Night Dinner on Thursdays. Meals are also delivered to homebound disabled and elderly individuals. The organization opened a Resource Center four years later in April 2002 with a focus on providing help for people in crisis situations (e.g., eviction, utility cancellation, prescription medication).
